Clinton & Justice Dept Breaking The Law

I didn't vote for Clinton either term or Gore November 7. I have witnessed a government run amok, vote stealing, arms for votes, lying, obstruction of justice, using the court system to make law, defying Congress and the worst insult to the American public when the President was impeached and now wants the Republican party to apologize for that.

The Justice Department Clinton has ruled over (and I purposely say ruled) has made a mockery of our Judicial system . The Constitutional Times article detailing the letter written to a citizen informing him that no citizen has the right to keep and bear arms is in direct conflict with the Constitution and Bill of Rights.

Janet Reno has used the military (in violation of the Constitution) for Justice assistance at Waco, has overseen the Ruby Ridge murder and we all witnessed the "masked combat troop" remove an illegal immigrant in Florida. There are purportedly many other instances but the media will never reveal them.

We have become a Police State controlled by a man who never received a majority of the vote, yet managed to get into the White House and has the gall to proclaim that he is responsible for the economy when Congress is the branch that controls the money and private enterprise created the wealth and jobs.

God forbid that Gore the protege should be declared the President.

Kudos For Gun Companies

I applaud those sponsors that support the Constitution and Bill of Rights as listed on the Shots Heard Downrange page in the Constitutional Times.

I am a hunter and competitive shooter and you better believe I will remember who appeared on that page whenever I have to buy products that they produce.

And for your information, my wife is also a sports enthusiast and our children are becoming involved as quickly as they age enough.

Thank you to those companies.

SPLIT BETWEEN BUSH & GORE

The vote appears to be evenly split between Bush and Gore. What does that mean to those citizens that support the Constitution and Bill of Rights? It certainly indicates that many of you sat on your behinds or were totally misinformed regarding what direction Gore intends to take this country if elected.

The article, "Do You Deserve To Live In America", surely should have given you direction. It's been said that we get the government we deserve and that would be okay if you, the non-voter, or the one that was willing to sacrifice your constitutional rights for a promise of getting something for nothing, was the only one that suffered; but I must suffer along with you when you don't vote or vote incorrectly.

I've been praying that this Florida situation is conducted legally because there have been many illegal things done with those ballots during the hand counts.

In my heart I believe I deserve to live in America but I also know many others do not.

UN-United States of America

Your editorial UN-UNITED STATES OF AMERICA certainly was prophetical.

Just look at Florida where it appears Bush won three times and yet no winner declared. The nation is being fragmented between political parties and between people.

We also witness a Congress that has abdicated its power and responsibility by letting Clinton illegally declaring war several times, a Justice Department making law and a President enforcing Executive Mandates.

We have the United Nations attempting to force its agenda upon the U.S. and neither Congress or the President supporting the Constitution and Bill of Rights.

Some People Don't Deserve America

BOND ISSUES - ILLEGAL TAXING

Did your piece on property taxing really hit home! It's been many years since Proposition 13 was passed and the politicians have 'burnt the midnite oil' dreaming up schemes to subvert it.

This last election in California was as deceitful asyou can get with the state measure, School Facilities, 55% Local Vote, Bonds, Taxes Initiative. It is the same old "shell game" - get a measure passed by getting non-payers to vote for it.

If this measure had so much merit as touted, why wasn't it supported by a state sales tax that all must pay instead of throwing the burden solely on the property owner?

The reference to the Constitution allowing voting on tax positions to be permitted only by those that must pay the tax appears to be a solution. Of course, this will be fought vigorously by the pols.

PUT UP

The expression, "put your money where your mouth is" certainly appears to be appropriate when it comes to some gun/sporting manufacturers.

We consumers never really know where a company stands until we see the shameful action by S&W or the reverse - when a company proudly proclaims a position to the world by supporting gun rights of the American citizens.

What a pitiful state we are in at this time in history. The United States used to be known as the Nation of Rifleman; schools, Boy Scouts and the youth were all involved with guns, but now such radicals as the infamous Sarah Brady and her ilk want to socialize America.

How many brave servicemen and servicewomen have given their lives to protect the Constitution and Bill of Rights AND enabled the Sarah Brady's the freedom to speak their pro-crime, pro-criminal, pro-elitist mush?

We applaud the efforts of those sponsors that are not afraid to state their patriotism and will recommend to everyone we know to support them.
