The Section 8 voucher program is designed for low income persons to purchase a house. The requirements are generally based on low income which, of course, means the subsidy has to be made up from L.A. County Housing Authority. However, unfair as that is to taxpayers, consider that this program is also available to undocumented immigrants if members of their family are U.S. citizens. Isn't that just grand?
