DON'T BE A FROG

Several years ago, an attempt was made in California to impose draconian gun control laws on us (Proposition 15), I believe. Voters saw through it and the measure was soundly defeated. The gun grabbers have now adopted gradual incrementalism...a little bit here and a little bit there, but always heading toward the same goal...eventual confiscation of all firearms. They hope that the frogs won't recognize what is happening until it is too late.

Another related example: Communism and Socialism have long been considered reprehensible in this country. Despite this, the liberal politicians we have elected have by gradual incrementalism created a big government socialist state. We just don't use the word anymore. Like it or not, the governmental juggernaut, by gradual incrementalism, is dragging us toward one world government. We need to be reminded that convicted Soviet spy Alger Hiss provided the blue print for the United Nations.

The drive for more and more gun control really began almost 40 years ago, in the U.N., when on September 25, 1961, President John F. Kennedy formally launched his program entitled "FREEDOM FROM WAR: THE UNITED STATES PROGRAM FOR GENERAL AND COMPLETE DISARMAMENT IN A PEACEFUL WORLD."

FREEDOM FROM WAR, also known as The Department of State Publication 7277 proposes the complete surrender of U.S. Armed forces to the United Nations in three stages...incremental gradualism.

To set his program in motion, President Kennedy signed Public Law 87-297 (H.R. 9118) creating the United States Arms Control and Disarmament Agency. It states that the U.N. Peace Force would be progressively strengthened "until it had sufficient armed forces and armaments so that no state could challenge it."

Responsibility for devising such a treasonous and diabolical scheme goes to President Kennedy, his Secretary of State, Dean Rusk and his Secretary of Defense, Robert McNamara, and all who were members of the Council of Foreign Relations (CFR). The actual authors of Freedom From War and Public Law 87-297 were John J. McCloy, chairman of the CFR at that time and Arthur H. Dean, a CFR director.

Why haven't you heard of this before? It may be because many of the mainstream media are also members of the CFR. Some who come to mind include Tom Brokaw, Jim Lehrer, Bill Moyers, Dan Rather, Ed Bradley, Diane Sawyer, Barbara Walters and a host of others. In addition, many of our Senators, such as John D. Rockefeller, IV, Christopher Dodd and others are also members as are some members of the House of Representatives.

Former CFR member Admiral Chester Ward charged the organization with "promoting disarmament and submergence of U.S. Sovereignty and national independence into an all powerful world government."

Other members of the CFR conclude that World disarmament Is not possible unless all citizens are disarmed. If you fail to surrender or register your .22 rifle, your .38 pistol or whatever and are charged with unlawful possession of "military equipment" under the UN General Assembly's regulations, a UN tribunal will be your judge and jury.

The UN funded (translation...U.S. Funded) Commission on Global Governance (CGG) issued a report which said, "Militarization today not only involves governments spending more than necessary to build up their military arsenals, it has increasingly become a global phenomenon, as witnessed by the rampant acquisition and use of increasingly lethal weapons by civilians...whether individuals seeking a means of self defense, street gangs, criminals, political opposition groups or terrorist organizations." Obviously, the man defending his family against robbers and gangsters, or the woman defending her person and virtue have no more right to firearms than the robbers, terrorists and other bad guys...in their view.

Salvatore "Sammy the Bull" Gravano, testifying against the mob in exchange for a reduced sentence stated, "Gun control is the best thing you can do for crooks and gangsters. I want you to have nothing. If I'm a bad guy, I'm always gonna have a gun. Safety locks? You pull the trigger with a lock on and I'll pull the trigger. We'll see who wins."

Do we Americans really want to surrender our sovereignty and our heritage to become subservient to a World body?

I served my country through three wars and don't intend to sit idly by and let a bunch of fuzzy brained manipulators undercut the very thing that many of my comrades-in-arms died for...a free United States of America.

Don't be a frog. Get out of the pot of complacency before you get boiled!
