EDITORIAL/EDITORIAL POLICY

The Constitutional Times is a not-for-profit publication.

Its goal is to educate the public, especially schoolchildren, who have never had the benefit of American history & civics, or who are not being properly taught these studies. In addition, the reasons for, and the fact that this nation is a nation of laws and not popular vote, means it is a Republic and not a Democracy.

Contained herein are, and will be, topics addressing civil rights, constitutional rights, the judicial system, legal precedents, 'the supreme law of the land', and the restrictions placed on the Executive Branch and on the Supreme Court, in order to maintain the balance of power.

To fully appreciate and understand, the reader is encouraged to refer to the Department 'U.S. History/Formation' for the following: Constitution, Bill of Rights, Federalist Papers (85 in number), Emancipation Proclamation, Court decisions, Judicial System, etc.
